Visit the Hot Springs on this Costa Rica tour!
This full-day tour starts out at 7 a.m. when your bilingual tour guide picks you up in Playa Jaco and begins the four-hour trek to La Fortuna, at the base of the Arenal Volcano.
After a couple of hours of driving, your guide and driver will stop at El Jardin restaurant so that you can stretch your legs and get a bite to eat. (guest paying)
After some delicious breakfast and coffee, travel on and up into the cloud forests of La Fortuna, where the magnificent sight of Arenal (5,500-foot, active andesitic stratovolcano) is ever looming above. You can’t miss an opportunity to see this incredible natural phenomenon.
Once at the La Fortuna trailhead, you’ll have a stop to stretch your legs and see some beautiful Arenal volcano and have 30 minutes walk to different view spots and then continue to Hot Springs.
After an hour and a half taking in the scenic beauty surrounding the Arenal Volcano, it’s time to head over to the hot springs for lunch at one of excellent restaurants! Your meal will be well deserved after everything you’ve done to get to the hot springs.
